our current system makes it difficult to reach the presidency without selling out, and mccain used to call attention to this himself, he is far still less shady than clinton, (whose cronies sent a $24 million letter to pelosi). i will vote for mccain before i vote for clinton any day.

How utterly bizarre this is! He is committing a felony under the McCain-Feingold law that he co-sponsored. His defense says the law is unconstitutional. Okay, I agree with that last part. It is. But before he co-authored and voted for the bill, he swore an oath to preserve the constitution. I know a teeny, tiny bit about law, from defending a bogus patent law suit. There’s a principle called “estoppel.” Basically it says you can’t have it both ways. I wonder if that shouldn’t apply here.

So why not vote for Obama and get rid of some old rotten power. I agree the Clintons are pretty bad, but McCain in power would just be a disaster for the world’s security and peace. Even though we don’t know how Obama will react (as he keeps contradicting himself), at least we know there’s a chance he won’t be another Clinton or Bush in power. Just a little chance, but a chance nonetheless.
