What are the lowest priced shares on the Australian market?

Submitted by on October 18, 2009 – 12:46 amNo Replies

A web user asks, I’m looking to buy something just for fun – you know spend $500 and own 100,000 shares. Can anyone suggest some good Australian shares? Additionally can anyone suggest a free site that lists all the shares on the stock market and the price (so I can search myself if I need to)?

Can you help them out? Post your advice!
