What ever happen to the shares of apple that Microsoft brought from in 1997?

A web user asks, back in august of 97 microsoft purchased 150,000 shares of Apple Series A non voting stock preferred stock for $150 million. what happen to the shares did microsoft sell them or do they still hold them.
