What is the statewide sales tax in Ohio?

Submitted by on February 20, 2010 – 11:30 pmNo Replies

A web user asks, I understand that the sales tax varies by county. However for those selling online, no matter what area in the state the sales tax remains the same.

What is the statewide sales tax in Ohio, or are these websites simply charging 7.5% and taking care of their taxes that way?

Can you help them out? Post your advice!
