Does canceling an unactivated credit card affect my credit score and how would it?

Submitted by on July 31, 2010 – 9:54 amNo Replies

A web user asks, I was approved with the Barclay finance credit card from Apple Store to finance for a laptop. But then I had second thoughts and decided to not purchase the computer yet, so I didn’t want to keep the card around. Would it hurt my credit if I closed it?

Can you help them out? Post your advice!
