Does canceling an unactivated credit card affect credit score?

Submitted by on April 16, 2010 – 2:33 amNo Replies

A web user asks, I wast just trying to have the limit of my credit card increased and my bank applied for a new one for me. Since I don’t need a new credit card I want to t cancel the new one without ever activating it- will this affect my credit score?

Can you help them out? Post your advice!
