Can you use a debit card as a credit card on the Internet?Or are they different?

Submitted by on December 19, 2009 – 12:49 pmNo Replies

A web user asks, I have a debit card in visa, and I want to purchase some stuff on the internet. According to the online store, they accept Visa CREDIT CARDS, yet they don’t mention anything about Visa debit cards. Could I still use debit cards as a substitute for credit cards?

Can you help them out? Post your advice!
