In Australia, Is It Possible To Sell My Home To A Company That I Am The Sole Director?

Submitted by on October 5, 2009 – 10:40 amNo Replies

A web user asks, I have a mortgage with a non bank lender whose interest rate is much higher than the major banks or other lenders. I got into this situation because of being self employed, but don’t have any credit problems. I am sole director of a limited propriety company and I was wondering if I can sell my house to my company to get a better a better deal. Is this legal in Australia? If it were you, do you think it is wise to do so?

Can you help them out. Post your advice!
