How to delay finance charges on a credit card?

Submitted by on March 10, 2010 – 11:18 pmNo Replies

A web user asks, I have a discover card, and I had an 18 month period with no finance charges. My time is up and finance charges started this month. I was told by someone that if you call them and ask for an extended time with no finance charges they usually will because they don’t want you to transfer to another card. Has anyone ever done this? How do I go about it?

Can you help them out? Post your advice!
