Is it possible to cash a personal check anywhere besides the bank?

Submitted by on December 15, 2009 – 12:57 pmNo Replies

A web user asks, I got a check for my birthday, but the bank for the person that sent it is no where near me. Then I don’t have enough cash in my account to cash the check through my bank. I don’t want to wait for it to clear, where else can I go?

Can you help them out? Post your advice!
