  • I’m a financial advisor and a fan of the entire Wiley Finance Series…they have outdone themselves this time. While all their valuation books are top notch, this is the only one I’ve seen written by practicing professionals. I recommend the book for all my clients.

    5 stars!

  • I haven’t picked up a valuation book in quite a while and was

timid at first to read what appeared to be a technical book. While

this book does go into great detail on the technical aspects of high

finance, I found it to be completely accessible.

  • I’ve been in the M&A industry for many years and wished that I had read this book right up-front. The title is “Investment Banking” but it could easily be called “How to Understand Investment Banking Well Enough to Work in M&A.” The authors laid out the basic valuation principles in a straightforward, logical manner. A great book to have if you are interested in buying businesses, selling businesses, understanding what your business is worth and how the world of Investment Banking views your business. It took me years of experience to nail down what this book gets across in less than 300 pages.
